East Brookfield District Court
Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle
My client was arrested following a multiple car accident which resulted in which the police making several
observations of my clients lack of sobriety. Because my client refused to take both the breath test and field
sobriety tests, he left the police with very little evidence to support a conviction. We scheduled the case for
the jury-waived trial in without putting on any witnesses. I did cross-examine the one police officer that
testified for the Commonwealth. In fact my belief is the evidence was so weak that I asked the police officer
only one question. We then rested without arguing to the court why my client should be acquitted. My
client was acquitted of all charges.
RESULT: Not Guilty Of All Charges.

My interest in criminal law began while attending University of
Miami School of Law. During my second year , I was able to
secure an internship with the State Attorney's Office as a student
prosecutor. I worked under Janet Reno, who later became our
United States Attorney General. Over the last 23 years I have
been representing individuals throughout the Commonwealth with
compassion, professionalism and the understanding that your
case is all that matters. I am one of the few attorneys in
Worcester County that devotes their entire practice to criminal
defense and I have built a reputation based on results and
dedication to my practice. In 2003 I was voted Massachusetts
Lawyer of the Year.
